Fish, Walter (d. 1585), tailor, is of unknown parentage and the early details of his life are unclear. Most likely born about 1520, he became free of the Merchant Taylors' Company of London probably shortly before 1545, when he would have been at least twenty-four; he was taking apprentices by 1547–8.
