Crosse, Robert (1604/5–1683), writer on philosophy and Church of England clergyman, was the son of William Crosse of Dunster, Somerset. He matriculated from Lincoln College, Oxford, as a commoner on 13 December 1622 aged seventeen. He graduated BA on 6 July 1625, was elected a fellow of his college in 1627, proceeded MA on 10 May 1628 and was ordained that year, and in 1637 became BD. ...
