Kuhn, Heinrich Gerhard (1904–1994), physicist, was born in Breslau, Silesia, then part of the German empire, on 10 March 1904, the second son of Wilhelm Felix Kuhn (1868–1927), solicitor, magistrate, and notary public, and his wife, (Pauline Caroline) Marthe Hoppe (1868–1946), who was of part Polish descent. ...
