Bruce, Henry Austin, first Baron Aberdare (1815–1895), politician, was the second son of John Bruce (later Bruce Pryce; 1784–1872), and his first wife, Sarah, daughter of Hugh Williams Austin, rector of St Peter's, Barbados.
