Hervey, William, Baron Hervey of Kidbrooke and Baron Hervey of Ross (d. 1642), naval officer, was the only son of Henry Hervey, of Kidbrooke, Kent, and his wife, Jane, daughter of James Thomas of Llanfihangel, Monmouthshire.
