Mees, (Charles Edward) Kenneth (1882–1960), chemist and photographic scientist, was born in Harrowden Road, Wellingborough, the eldest child of Charles Edward Mees (1850–1930), a Wesleyan minister, and his wife, Ellen, née Jordan (1848–1917).
