Patten, Robert (fl. 1715–1718), Jacobite chaplain and writer, is of unknown parentage and upbringing. He had served as a curate at Penrith in Cumberland, and was occupying a similar position at Allendale in Northumberland when the 1715 Jacobite rising began.
