Bruarne [Bruerne], Richard (1519–1565), Hebrew scholar, was born on 10 March 1519, according to a note by him in Hebrew and Latin in his copy of Giralmo Cardona's Libelli quinti (1546) in the British Library. He studied at Lincoln College, Oxford, taking his BA on 8 February 1537 and his MA on 2 May 1539. He was appointed a fellow of the college in 1538.
