Brind, Richard (d. 1718), organist and music teacher, was the son of Richard Brind and an unknown mother. He was educated as a chorister, and later admitted as a probationer vicar-choral, at St Paul's Cathedral, where he remained, succeeding Jeremiah Clarke as organist in 1708. He held this post for the rest of his life....
