Alhmund [Alchmund] (d. 781), bishop of Hexham, was consecrated in 767. He died in 781, and was buried near his more famous predecessor, Acca, outside the walls of the church of his see. The translation of Alhmund's body to a tomb within the church took place about 1030. ...
