Russell, Arthur Tozer (1806–1874), Church of England clergyman and hymn writer, was born at Northampton on 20 March 1806 the son of Thomas Russell or Cloutt (1781–1846), a Congregationalist minister, and his first wife Elizabeth née Tozer (1777-1806) who died shortly after his birth. ...
