Balfour, Robert, fifth Lord Balfour of Burleigh (d. 1757), murderer and Jacobite sympathizer, was the son of Robert Balfour, fourth Lord Balfour of Burleigh (d. 1713), and Lady Margaret Melville, daughter of the first earl of Melville.
