Medd [née Crowley], Mary Beaumont (1907–2005), architect and educationist, was born at 31 Wilmer Drive, Heaton, Bradford, on 4 August 1907, the younger daughter of Ralph Henry Crowley (1869–1953), physician, and his wife, Muriel, née Priestman (1880–1975).
