Pasuka, Berto (1917-1963)

 Dancer, choreographer, and painter, Berto Pasuka moved from Jamaica to London in 1939, where he launched Britain’s first Black dance company, attracting instant acclaim, leading to broadcasts on BBC Television in 1946 and 1949.
