Brewster, Annie Catherine (1858–1902)
Born in St Vincent, Annie Catherine Brewster accompanied her family to Britain, where she trained as a nurse. She worked for twenty years at the London Hospital, becoming nurse in charge of the ophthalmic wards and was recognized for her skill in a specialist area of nursing.
