Degge, Sir Simon (1612?–1703), judge, was probably born on 5 January 1612, the eldest son of Thomas Degge (d. 1628) of Strangsall, Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, and Dorothy, daughter of George Crichlow of Wolscote, Staffordshire.
