Dawes [married name de Feuchères], Sophie, Baroness de Feuchères in the French nobility (1792–1840), adventuress and courtesan, was the daughter of Richard Daw or Dawes, a drunken fisherman and smuggler of St Helens, Isle of Wight, and Jane Callaway.
