Young, Frederick Archibald [Freddie] (1902–1998), cinematographer, was born on 9 October 1902 at 58 Great James Street, St Marylebone, London, the seventh of eight children of Isaac Young, otherwise Henry Young, coachman and later horse dealer, and his wife, Annie Frances Challis.
