Kyriell, Sir Thomas (1396–1461), soldier, was born in Kent, the son of William Kyriell (1379–1413) of Eynsford. Thomas served as a man-at-arms in the retinue of Sir Gilbert Umfraville in the French expedition of 1417. By this time he was already a knight, and by 1420 was described as king's knight.
