Woodward, Thomas Jenkinson (1744–1820), botanist, was baptized on 23 February 1744 at St Mary's Church, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. He was the only son of Benjamin Woodward (d. 1757) of Huntingdon, where his family had long been established, and his wife, Mary.
