Utterson, Edward Vernon (bap. 1777, d. 1856), antiquary and literary editor, was baptized on 14 July 1777, the eldest son of John Utterson of Fareham, Hampshire, and his wife, Elizabeth. He was educated at Eton College and entered Trinity Hall, Cambridge, as a pensioner on 17 February 1794, matriculating in Michaelmas term 1797 and gaining an LLB in 1801. He was admitted to ...
