Terry, John (c. 1555–1625), Church of England clergyman, was born at Long Sutton, Hampshire. He entered Winchester College in 1572, when his age was given as fourteen, and matriculated from New College, Oxford, on 10 January 1575, when he was said to be aged nineteen.
