Rudder, Samuel (bap. 1726, d. 1801), topographer and printer, was baptized on 5 December 1726 at Uley, Gloucestershire, the son of Roger Rudder (c.1687–1771), a shopkeeper and pig-killer, and his wife, Lydia Hillier.
