Norwich, Sir Walter (d. 1329), administrator, was probably the son of Henry of Norwich, a minor Norfolk landowner recorded in 1285, and his wife, Katherine. Walter is recorded as a clerk in February 1297, and again in December 1299, but presumably only took minor orders, since he was able to marry—his eldest son was born about 1299. His wife was ...
