Mountain [née Wilkinson], Rosemund (c. 1768–1841), singer and actress, was born in London. Her father, whose name was Wilkinson, was a tightrope walker and maker of theatrical wigs and her mother was a minor actress and theatrical dresser. Isabella Wilkinson, a famous rope-dancer and performer on the musical glasses, may have been her aunt. ...
