Milles, Thomas (1671–1740), Church of Ireland bishop of Waterford and Lismore, was born at Barley, Hertfordshire, on 19 June 1671, the eldest son of the Revd Isaac Milles (1638–1720) and Elizabeth Luckin (d. 1708). He matriculated from Wadham College, Oxford, on 12 March 1689 and was exhibitioner of the college in 1691–2; he graduated BA in 1692, MA in 1695, and BD in 1704....
