Lyons, Edmund, first Baron Lyons (1790–1858), naval officer and diplomatist, the fourth son of John Lyons of Antigua and St Austen's, Lymington, in Hampshire, was born on 29 November 1790 at Burton, Christchurch, Hampshire.
