Hutten, Leonard (1556/7–1632), Church of England clergyman and antiquary, of unknown origins, was educated on the foundation at Westminster School in London and in 1574 was selected one of its three scholars sent triennially to Christ Church, Oxford, where he remained for the rest of his life. He became a student—that is, a fellow—in 1575, graduated BA on 12 November 1578, proceeded MA on 3 January 1582, commenced BD on 27 April 1591, and was admitted DD on 14 April 1600.
