Hensman, John (1780–1864), Church of England clergyman, was born at Bedford on 22 September 1780, the son of Thomas and Anne Hensman. He was educated at Bedford grammar school, after which he matriculated as an exhibitioner at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, in 1797.
