Heath, Sir Robert (1575–1649), judge, was born in Brasted, Kent, on 20 May 1575, the son of Robert Heath (1535–1615) and his wife, Anne, formerly Posyer (1545–1626). Heath was descended from at least three generations of lawyers, and his father geared the boy's education to this career. ...
