Greenwood, John (c. 1560–1593), religious controversialist, was of unknown origins. He is first recorded on 18 March 1578, when he matriculated as a sizar of Corpus Christi College, Cambridge; he graduated BA in 1581. He does not seem to have taken another degree, although he is sometimes styled MA....
