Rogers, Paul (1917–2013), actor, was born on 22 March 1917 at 15 Moorland View Terrace, Plympton St Mary, Devon, the only child of Edwin Rogers (1891–1974), schoolteacher, later headmaster and lay preacher, and his wife, Dulcie Myrtle, née Collier (1892–1965).
