Gethin [née Norton], Grace, Lady Gethin (1676–1697), essayist, was probably born at Abbotsleigh in Somerset. Her parents, Sir George Norton (1647/8–1715) and Frances Norton (1644–1731), had two other children, George and Elizabeth, both of whom died young.
