Bransford, Wolstan (d. 1349), prior of Worcester and bishop of Worcester, probably came from the hamlet of Bransford near Worcester, and is identifiable as the clerk, son of John of Bransford, former citizen of Worcester, to whom John Wyke, the cathedral prior, granted letters dimissory to the priesthood on 23 November 1308, during the see's vacancy.
