Jollie [Jolly], Timothy (1656x9–1714), Independent minister and nonconformist tutor, was born at Altham, Lancashire, between 1656 and 1659, according to differing sources. He was the youngest son of Thomas Jollie or Jolly (1629–1703), an Independent minister; his mother was Thomas's third wife, whose name is unknown, who died in childbirth giving birth to him....
