The latest update adds the lives of 16 women in fields ranging from music, art, and theatre management to typography and accountancy, and with a focus on women historians, introduced by Professor Rosemary Mitchell and Dr Laura Carter.
Trained in art at South Kensington and the Slade, Mary Seton Watts formed a creative partnership with her painter husband, and managed the gallery which they founded in Compton, Surrey.
